Discover the unique experience of 11 international students from MGU who decided to travel to the Arctic to see the northern lights with their own eyes.

The travelers booked accommodations, bought plane tickets, and chose a guide for four days in Murmansk. It was four intense days. The students arrived in Murmansk late at night. On the second day they went to the forest to ride snowmobiles. In the evening all participants went on a "hunt" for the northern lights. They were lucky on the first day. It is difficult to describe the Northern Lights in words and convey its full scale in photos. This is one of the most beautiful and colorful phenomena of nature. On the third day the guys visited Teriberka, where amazing landscapes open up. On the fourth day there was a visit to the Saami village, where the local farm has reindeer and husky dogs. The students learned about the local traditions and culinary features of the Sami people. The climate there is very harsh. On the street that day there was a real Russian frost: -30 degrees! Even after 10 minutes outdoors their eyelashes were frozen, and the men's beards were freezing.
For the first time the group was in the northernmost point of the route. The air there was incredibly clean and clear, there was no wind, but it was very cold, and the snow was white as milk. The locals are very friendly people, always smiling and happy visitors. All students promised to return one day to this unusually fairy-tale world to experience the atmosphere of this cold but beautiful land once again.
The guys got unforgettable and bright impressions.
